<p>The Smart Copy mode is a fully automated feature provided by BYDFi that allows you to follow traders’ strategies. With Smart Copy, you can automatically place orders based on the trader’s investment proportion, while synchronizing leverage, margin, and position management settings. This guide explains the operation process, advantages, and common questions of Smart Copy, helping you follow trades easily while managing risk.</p><p><br></p><h2>What is Smart Copy?</h2><p>Smart Copy is a new copy trading mode where the system automatically calculates the amount to invest based on the trader’s capital proportion and replicates the trader’s order parameters. Each time a position is opened, the system calculates the copy order amount according to the trader’s margin and account equity, and automatically sets the leverage, margin mode, and other order parameters.</p><p>Unlike the Diverse Follow copy mode, Smart Copy does not share a single Copy Wallet among multiple traders. Each trader’s positions are independent. Even if the positions are in the same trading pair and direction, multiple positions can be opened.</p><p><strong>Example:</strong></p><ul><li>Trader’s account equity: 10,000 USDT</li><li>Investment: 1,000 USDT, 5× leverage, full position long BTCUSDT perpetual contract</li><li>Capital proportion: 1,000 ÷ 10,000 = 10%</li></ul><p>If your copy investment amount is 1,000 USDT, the system will automatically invest 100 USDT (10%) as the copy position cost, using the same leverage and mode.</p><p>Smart Copy supports one-click copy trading by only setting the investment amount. You do not need to configure complex parameters; the trader manages position risk and profit throughout the process.</p><p><br></p><h2>Advantages of Smart Copy</h2><ul><li>One-click copy: Simply enter the investment amount to start copying; no complex settings required.</li><li>Smart investment with synchronized risk management: Orders are placed automatically according to the trader’s investment proportion. Why is the margin amount different for each order?</h2><ul><li>Smart Copy calculates order size proportionally based on the trader’s order.
