Why Hasn't My Crypto Deposit Arrived?

If your deposit to a MoonX or BYDFi account has not been credited yet, there could be several reasons. In most cases, you simply need to wait for the blockchain network to confirm the transaction. However, other factors may occasionally cause delays. Understanding these reasons can help you manage your crypto deposits more securely.


Possible Causes for Deposit Delays

Blockchain Confirmation Delays – The transaction might still be processing on the blockchain and hasn't received enough confirmations yet.

Incorrect Network or Address – Ensure that you have selected the correct blockchain network and deposit address.

Missing Memo/Tag – Some cryptocurrencies require a memo or tag to be credited properly.


1. Blockchain Confirmation Delays

If your deposit hasn't been credited yet, first check the transaction status using a blockchain explorer (e.g., Solscan, Etherscan).

📌 How to check transaction status?

1. Copy your Transaction ID (TXID) or wallet address and search it on a blockchain explorer.

2. If the transaction is marked as "Pending," you will need to wait for the blockchain to complete enough confirmations.

3. If the transaction is not visible on the blockchain, it may indicate that the transaction hasn't been sent yet. Please confirm with the sender that the transaction was executed successfully.

Blockchain Confirmation Times (for reference):

Bitcoin (BTC): ~10-60 minutes (depending on network congestion)

Ethereum (ETH) and EVM chains: ~30 seconds to 10 minutes

Solana (SOL): ~seconds to a few minutes


2.Incorrect Address or Blockchain Network

💡 If you send funds to an incorrect address or network, recovery may not be possible. Always double-check:

Correct Deposit Address: Ensure that your assets are being sent to the correct address for your MoonX or BYDFi exchange account.

Matching Blockchain Network: Sending assets to the wrong network (e.g., BSC to Ethereum) could result in the loss of funds.

Deposit Error Handling: If you accidentally deposit to the wrong network, please immediately submit a support request. We will assist you, but we cannot guarantee the funds will be recovered.
Please note:

Some blockchains (e.g., EOS, BNB, XRP) require a Memo or Tag in addition to the address for successful deposits.


3. Missing Memo/Tag

Some blockchain deposits require you to fill in a Memo, Tag, or Payment ID. Missing this information may prevent the funds from being successfully credited.
Blockchains requiring Memo/Tag:

BNB Smart Chain (BEP2): Requires Memo

XRP (Ripple): Requires Destination Tag

EOS: Requires Memo


If you missed entering the Memo/Tag during the deposit, please contact our support team and provide the following details:

1. Transaction ID (TXID)

2. Deposit amount and token type

3. Receiving wallet address


How to Avoid Deposit Issues?

✅ Confirm the correct blockchain network and wallet address before making a deposit.

✅  Ensure that you fill in the Memo/Tag if required.

✅ Track your transaction status through a blockchain explorer.

✅ Ensure that you pay enough Gas fees to avoid transaction delays.
